Synopsis  In today’s litigious environment, many of us are subject to the possibility of financial claims being levied against us.  Engineers are no exception and in an effort to avoid and minimize risk, CASE (Council of American Structural Engineers) created the 10 Foundations of Risk Management.  The 10 Foundations will be presented along with a few simple tools to help with risk management that anyone can use.. 


Speaker's Biography   Mr. Matsuoka is the Director of SSFM’s Project Management Group.  He also serves as a Senior Project Manager responsible for the planning and design of architectural and engineering projects including the preparation of drawings, calculations, specifications, and cost estimates, and conducting special inspections and construction observation services.  He has extensive experience in projects involving commercial/office buildings, residential buildings, educational facilities, site development and telecommunication projects.
